1999 Subaru Forester new battery

I just replaced a dead battery with a new one. Now the forester just clicks but wont start. Any suggestions?

There's a number of things that will click when you try to crank the engine. Without knowing exactly what you're hearing, the likely suspect is a bad battery cable or a connection on one of them. Do you have a digital voltmeter or test light and know how to use them?
