just recent new alternator fitted but the battery light is staying on i have checked connections all ok is there anything else i can do ,because if i leave this vehicle 1 to 2 days the battery will be totally flat ,plus the battery was renewed 2 weeks ago ,i dont want to damage the battery by jump starting all the time
