Car needed a new fuel pump/sending unit, so I had that fixed along with new brakes, and inspected . . . all was said to be working fine. We also replaced the water pump and thermostat. I drove the car for a few weeks, with no problems. It drove fine, the heat and a/c worked, no issues. One night, it ran only slightly warmer than usual, barely over the halfway temp. mark, and it only lasted while I was sitting idle at a drive-thru, and didn't do it again. It was fine for the next few days, as well. I turned the car on one night, and got maybe 4 blocks away from my house, and my check engine light came on, and the car was running hot, probably around 220-230, and then the car just shut off. Borrowed a friends OBDII, and the code p0140 came up. Turned the car back on a few hours later, and the light is off, but now there is no heat in the car, and there is a small (what looks like oil) leak along the top of the engine. I checked the dipstick, oil is pretty much where it should be, and the color is fine. There are also no weird smells or sound coming from the car apart from the little bit of oil burning off. WTF is going on?!
