replacing the passenger side window motor

When replacing the passenger side window motor on my 99 olds alero do i have to have a 99 alero motor or will other years/models fit? i.e. window motor

The motor is out on our car and new ones are expensive, but there is only one junk yard with our car and they want the same price as a new one.?

you might want to check ebay, ive seen some really cheap motor/regulator assemblies for sale on there.

as far as other makes and models that might have the same parts. A quality used parts yard should be able to answer that with a quick search on their computers.
