faulty seatbelt

Inertia reel seat belts are not serviceable and you should never attempt to repair them, you can remove the covers and blow out any dust and muck that may be in the assembly with compressed air, but otherwise this should be replaced with a new belt, never use a second hand belt as you just do not know if it has ever been over stressed in a previous accident.
