How do I tell if its the master cylinder or the slave cylinder that needs replaceing And how to fix it they have put power steering fluid in the clutch reservoir now it won't bleed through and the clutch peddle is on the floor

It's real easy to know what needs to be replaced. Everything. At least everything that has rubber parts that contact the fluid. Most hydraulic clutches use brake fluid. That must never have any hint of a petroleum product such as engine oil, transmission fluid, or power steering fluid. With brake hydraulic systems the only proper repair is to replace the master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, combination valve, height-sensing proportioning valve, and all rubber flex hoses. The same is true of clutch systems. If any rubber part is not replaced, the contamination will leach out and recontaminate the new parts and the problems will continue. Any metal tubes that will be reused must be flushed and dried first.
