I just replaced my intake manifold with a stock intake, The car will only start if you hold your hand over the throttle body, the car quits as soon as you remove your hand. ?? The car would start and run rough before the replacement so I think im missing something simple. Please help, Thanks.

Hi, have you tried to adjust the spring or the cable that controls the idle and throttle?

check for a vacuum leak either hoses off or gasket not in place correctly...

There is a vacuum hose missing from the egr valve but im not sure where it goes but would this prevent it from starting or just causr it to run rough?

itmay cause it to run rough. but we don't know what you have done other than rplace intake so recheck everything you have done. something has to be disconnected or not hooked up correctly. i'm sending a vacuum diagram for you to recheck also if your air cleaner duct work is NOT hooked up it won't run correctly either.
