My fan does does not work and when the car gets hot it still doesnt come on. why doesnt it turn on ever

My dad hot wired it one time to make it work. I just replaced the tempeture sensor as well too.

Check and test the fan relay if okay -think computer, the brain when it senses the programmed temperature from the coolant temperature sensor it activates the fan relay therefore powers the fan motor
