My 1999 Mitsubishi colt has a brand new battery but when I park it for about a day it runs the battery dead! is there a common electrical problem and also it is a bit smokey and is leaking some kind of liquid out the exhaust? can you help

go to how to repair on site and look under battery item 9 it tells how to check for a parasitic draw. check for leaking fluids onto exaust manifold.
