can i fit a Mitsubishi diesel engine onto a 2.4 GDI auto transmission? and is the transmission of a GDI electronic or not ( uses the CPU to change gears)?

No you can't. Diesel and petrol engine controls are different. GDI auto transmission are electronically controlled.
