1999 Mercury Villager Driver Side Left front Brake Stuck

Flex hose is ruptured internaly checking pressure to caliper. crack open bleeder fluid will come out rotor will turn. replace flex hose

I did tired try replace flex hose and master cylinder still no lucky
do you think it is reservoir valve on the master cylinder?

99 merc villager need help with brakes still. Replaced caliper, Hose and now Master cylinder. Front left still hanging up and not releasing. Only part not changed is the valve on top of the master cylinder where the line attaches. NOW WHAT??? Need help fast!!!!!

This might be a possibility, but surely you would have caught this......Your hub is not seized to the spindle is it? Or rather your bearings are seized up?.....Caliper removed, rotor will not turn?

I do not know much about your vehicle, (and I may be out of place with this) If one line off of the master cylinder controls both front brakes, as on vehicles I am familiar with.....one would tend to think, both sides would be locking up, if the problem was closer to the master cylinder

If this is ABS....That's a whole new ball game...I know very little about those systems, that's why I drive Old, Reliable, EZ to diagnose and repair "Real Jeeps".

Did you check locating pins for wear ? if caliper does not slid freely it will bind. if pin has worn marks or wobbles in caliper hole then that maybe problem
