No heat, the fan works. The heater core leaked on the passenger floor then stopped(?) then nothing. Is it possible that the leak caused an air bubble in the system stopping the flow and consequently the leak? The engine warms up normally.

Are you sure the coolant isn't low? As far as the leak, they usually don't fix themselves. Check coolant level first and let me know the following:

Does the engine warm up to normal operating temp?
With the engine warm, running, and the heat on high, do both heater core hoses get hot?

The engine does warm up,It does use some coolant. I'll have to check the hoses, where exactly are they? I see the air conditioner lines but the only other things i see going into the firewall seem too small to be heater hoses. I am used to working on much older junk. Thank you for your help.

The heater hoses will go through the firewall (I believe closer to the passenger side). If I recall, they are either 3/4" or 5/8" hoses

I know that they will be going thru the firewall,as you can tell by my last statement. What i am familiar with is 1&1/4" or so RUBBER hoses, the things i see on this car are smaller and seem to be some type of plastic. I suppose that they HAVE to be the heater "hoses" though since they have quick disconnects on them and i see nothing else more likely to be them. I will check them and get back.

Let me know what you find. Also, make sure you aren't taking apart AC lines.

I do this to help people and no other reason. Why would I "jerk you around?" Listen, if you know what the heater hoses are, why are you asking where they are located? How am I to know how much you know about vehicles. Frankley, in 32 years I have never seen a 1"+ heater hose as you described. As far as the AC lines, I didn't want you pulling a quick connect for an AC line. That's why I said it. If you know what you're doing, then you're right. You don't need my help.
