Hello,
I installed a new radiator about 1&1/2 months now because the old one was leaking. today, while driving the new one started leaking without the car overheating. what can cause the radiator to be leaking like that? I thought it might be a bad thermostat o i pulled it down but realise there was none(the previous owner took it off). my fan is also working. please help

was it a new one or just another one. you could have hit something and punched a hole in it or it maybe twisted causing it to crack.

Thanks for your prompt reply. It was a brand new one. I did not hit anything. It wasn't the top or bottom tank. It was one of the tubes that burst previously and now again

I brought it back and the exchanged it for free.. but I wanted to check and make sure it isn't something that's causing it to burst. Could it be a bad temperature sensor or blown head gasket or bad water pump? Also, Should I install a thermostat?

ifit wasn't overheating with the new radiator then there would be no reason to replace the tstat. for the head gasket after it is full and warm then have it pressure tested to see if there are any internal leaks.
