1999 Mazda Protege coolant in throttle body

Changed an engine out of a Ford escape and put in a 99 Mazda protégé engine. There is now coolant in the throttle body but no water in oil. Can you PLEASE help?

was there any issues with the escape motor??

what did you change over for the swap???

it sounds like the throttle body. there should be 2 coolant lines at the throttle body

changed the complete motor, escape motor had rod knocking and cust. brought protégé, everything is fine except for coolant in throttle body. can u send me in direction of diagram of throttle body for that motor I am stumped as where to find it, I have looked everywhere.

the throttle body is where the air filter hose inlet to the motor connects.

So I guess my question would be is What are some reasons why there coolant getting into the throttle body, so I can narrow it down.

the throttle body has failed internally and is leaking.

change it from the old motor.
