How to replace Clyinder Ignition Actuator Drive Gera in 1999 B 3000 Mazda Standard

The clynder lock with the key does not activate the actuator. I removed the cylinder lock assembly and foind the end broke off in the actuator gear. I have a a new re keyed cliber lock but a I cnot insert it as the end of the old one is broke in the actuator drive.

Just to add to this i have a pair of tweasers with really long tips that work great for removing broken keys and stuff like that.If that part is non magnetic i would try pair of tweasers with really long tips.

The tips are also really thin and pointed so they can get into tight places.

That's where I was going. If it's not magnetic, and you can't seem to tweeze it, I like to use glue. I take for example the old broken part that you have in your hand, apply a very, very small film of crazy glue and reinsert it to where it was before it broke off and bolt it up. Allow it to sit, tight, for several hours. Then try to pull the whole thing out as one part. I have done this several times with great success, just don't use too much glue which could cause further problems, and don't rush it, let the glue dry.

Thats a great idea i will have to try that sometime when the tweasers fail me.With the glue you could also fast dry expoy it out with a popsilce stick etc even.
