What does fuse short dcc control?

my battery drains almost every fifteen minutes after turning off ignition. After tracing, I removed the DCC fuse and it is fine.

But the fuse looks fine, do I still need to replace it?

The DCC fuse is the fuse that disables a lot of the accessory functions but still allows the vehicle to start and drive.

This is a fuse that the factory removes when they finish building the vehicle so that the battery is less likely to drain during transportation and then while sitting on the dealer's lot waiting to be sold.

So, this means if you are removing this fuse and the issue stops then you have something on this circuit that is causing the issue.

The next step would be to reinstall this fuse and start removing all the other fuses until you find the specific system that is causing this issue.

Basically, what is happening is if you are trying to remove a bird's nest from a tree, you are cutting the entire limb off rather than just the branch that the nest is sitting on. So, this fuse is disabling a lot of systems and we need to narrow it down with the individual fuses.

We need to start with checking the battery as this could just be a shorted cell in the battery.

So, this fuse powers the door locks, interior lights and power windows. I would check the door lock switch to see if one of them is sticking which will drain the battery down.

Here is a guide to help out:
