Place grease in palm of one hand and wipe bearing into it so you force grease through bearing work bearing around so grease is pushed through all of bearing and starts to come out the other side, as for the hub, i wipe a hand full around the inned hub, some mechanics don't some do there is no real given amount for the hub, just as long as the bearings are well packed.
