what are the damage cause by an overcharging alternator ?

i have that 99 accent 1.5l manual that i recently change the alternator. a week after my mechanic told me my alternator was changing way to much.
by the time i got home alot of thing broke ( headlampe, fog, abs fuse, radio fuse, tail light fuse, battery blown, ecm blown, all dash light out and the car stop running and dont want to run again. can the alternator be the cause of all these probleme ?
