My 1999 Honda accord engine USDM-f23A1 was replaced last week. My old engine blew the gasket. I replaced with JDM f23a engine. After install engine starts well but the acceleration is not good. If I try accelerate more than 2500 rpm engine is shutting down!
Below are the details:
No engine light
Intake taken from old engine put to jdm engine.
Exhaust manifold changed to JDM.
Knock sensor was broken in JDM and it was replaced with new one from Advanced auto parts.
Oil and coolant temp sensor used from JDM engine.
Please let me know what will be the issue.

Thanks

Can you be more specific? Shutting down? I the engine actually shutting off, misfiring, losing power, run good at other RPM ranges. etc?

Engine starts and runs. Light vibration I can feel.
When I press gas pedal (not driving) the engine accelerate and when rpm reached between 2500 to 3000 it struggles and slows down as if coming to shut the engine. If I stop pressing the gas pedal

There are about 3 things that are known to act like that....
1) Low fuel pressure
2) bad coil
3) Plugged exhaust
