my 3500 GMC SAVANNA WAS NOT STARTED OR TURNED OVER IN 3 YEARS !? Do I need to get oil in the cylinders? Can I try starting it without scoring the cylinder walls? Might the valves be hung up? could anything be seized up? Any starting or cranking advice before I begin?

the first thing I would do is remove the plugs and add some oil to the cylinders.

change every fluid. drop the fuel tank, empty the fuel and add new and replace the fuel pump. then replace the battery and try to start
