I have a 1999 gmc sonoma 4.3 litre no spark while cranking the engine over

Key on, did you check for primary voltage at the ignition coil and injectors, pink wire. If no voltage check the ecm 1 fuse-- 15 amp in underhood fuse box. The circuit goes hot when you turn on the key, you don't have to crank.
