Is it okay to leave the front hubs locked and drive and never unlock them

Hi, my truck has the PVH hubs that lock with vacuum and unlock auto. Well all the hoses are dry rotted and messed I need to replace them so they will not lock with the vacuum. so I took the hubs off locked them then put it back on so wen I turn there into four wheel drive the front is locked an we I shut it off and put it back in two week drive. The tires spin but it spins the CV joint and the drive shaft coming from the differential to the front tires. Is it okay to leave the front hubs locked and drive and never unlock them?
