Have had trouble for some time as on hot day it will just shut down and won't go for about 3/4 hour although when I poured water down below no.1 inlet manifold it would start up but only go for a few k's before stopping again.Took it to Ford Dealership who put it on computer and said it indicated a faulty ECU so replaced it only to have same thing happen. Then they replaced the Coil Pack after I told them about water result but still didn't fix it, so they replaced the Crank Angle Sensor which as supposedly "open circuit" but only went 150 k's and stopped again. Now they claim it may be fuel pump. Seems that Ford Mechanics are only "part changers" and have only just graduated from maintaining and repairing "horse drawn vehicles" and have no idea of the workings of the modern motor vehicle. What's your suggestion???
