Is not a clicking noise but mine sounds like a loose cable not connecting to, but hitting inside the console then after a couple minutes goes away happens only when I started or when is sitting for long...I checked the front wipers, back wiper, they are ok, don't have antena with motor, I asked a mechanic..he said no idea. I did not have any work done or put a new radio.

This is a tough one. Could the sound be coming from a relay? Can you isolate where the noise is coming from?

Firstable I though was the cassete tape from the radio, I turned it off, but the sund comes from the passenger side inside the console, close to the air bag, sound like loose cable hitting inside, the radio, AC, speedometer, are ok. I do not live in the forest with windows open, I always close my window, park my car in my space, and lock. This morning I started no noise, but when I hit the gravel on the streets (working on the pavement) start the noise again then goes away in about 2 minutes or so. I am puzzle????

Check under the dash on the passanger side for anything that could be loose. Also, check to see if there are any relays. To me, it sounds like something is loose under the dash.

Today this afternoon 10/12/11 I open the passenger side look under the glove compartment put my hand over a black plastic tube... then I felt it the kicking noise, but I do not have the AC or the heater ON? when I start the car, then a couple of minutes the sound goes away. Is there a motor? or fan? to me sounds like a cable hitting that plastic.

Can you get and upload a picture of the tube that is making the noise?
