Car is really hard to start. I have to hold the gas pedal to the floor for it to start. When it does I have to keep giving it gas to keep it running. I have to put it in nuetral at stop lights. Had a computer hooked up and it brought up codes for retarded timing, camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor. I've replaced all three along with coil pack, plugs and wires. It's still running the same. I'm all out of ideas. Please help.

auto parts rent the gauge for fuel pressure. for 171 codes check for a vacuum leak or any rubber hose/grommet broken or a dirty maf sensor or fuel pressure low.. also if cam and crank sensor are not in synchronization will set a code 340 a pro scanner is needed to do this cold also be a bad pcm. code 1383 is variable cam timing problem so a pro should check this out it can be a solenoid, wiring or pcm problem but pcm 's should only be replaced when checked by a pro.

Thanks. I'm going to give it a try. At this point I'm willing to try anything.
