hello, I just bought a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 and as I was driving it the 2nd day the speedometer and rpm gauge stopped working. Over the past few days they have turned on and off randomly as well as some misfiring when accelerating for the first few min ties of driving and it stalls out sometimes when parking or pulling/backing out of driveway. The check engine light came on and I had a code for the O2 sensor which I am guessing is the cause of the misfiring. A second code was p1391 which is intermittent loss of cam shaft sensor or crankshaft sensor. The cam shaft sensor in my truck is actually a pickup plate under the distributor. I have researched and found a common problem with this model is the abs speed sensor on the rear axle however I do not have an ABS light on like those that have that problem. I was wondering if the crankshaft sensor or pick up plate could be causing a list of speedometer and give readings or if I should look into the transmission speed sensor or ground wires? I am a broke college student desperately in need of a car so I am hoping to fix these issues in the first try to save money from changing out things unrelated. Thank you for taking the time to look into this I greatly appreciate it!

have a pro scan for codes but it's probably a bad dash which can be rebuilt.
