Cam sensor?

I own a 99 intrepid 2.7 I just bought a cam sensor put it in,and it still does the samething it did before. If its plugged in car wont start just cranks and cranks when i unplug it car will start but a long start like it cranks for 2 seconds then starts and it wont got past 3000 rpm

Check and test the crankshaft position sensor and wiring to both sensors

how do u test the crankshaft position sensor do i just unplug it?

No ,check its resistances with a DVOM, stop throwing parts to it
