I cannot locate where the output speed sensor is on the transmission. Could you show me a diagram of it or describe where it goes? The speedometer does not work and the rpm's keep jumping and it uses a lot more gas than before. I hooked it up to a computer and it said faulty speed sensor.

The vehicle speed sensor is located in the transmission on driver's side rear by the driveshaft output. It is held in the case by one bolt and a retaining bracket. Hope this helps. I am assuming you are asking about the VSS, not an ABS sensor.
