i have a 1999 sebring lxi hardtop i changed the tranny filter and fliud now it shifts hard when it goes to third and when i come to a complete stop it it will jerk real hard what could it be

make sure the fluids at the right level by idling at operating temp and checking the dipstick. then be sure you used the right kind of fluid. beyond that you may have some internal problems such as sticking valve body or just plain wear. this car has a lot of miles. if the fluids are ok then id advise taking it to a transmission shop to eliminate spending money unnecessarily
