1999 Chrysler Sebring heater core

This is a major job. Part of the dash and the center console have to be removed. You access the heater core from under the dash on the passenger side.

Thank you for your reply. We are using parts off of my brother's 99 Chrysler cirrus 2.5 L v6 and we found out that the heater cores were different so that kinda shot that idea!

After they fixed my car leak with the o-rings, they started the car and it ran for 5-7 minutes but it was sputtering so they messed with the throttle about 4 times then the car died and then there was no spark. There was power to the injectors, but no spark at all. They checked the fuses and the scan tool didn't read any codes and the car still won't start.

Check to make sure the crank sensor wasn't bumped and disconnected. If you lost spark, they did something.

I told my friend but found out he got it going again - the problem was the coil/distributor (something like that) so now it's back to the way it was running before the radiator leak (except the water pump now) and now it has a minor misfire (like before) and we think it's maybe one of the fuel injectors is sucking in air, but he thinks he can fix it........I'm ready to sell the car and get something else...lol.....thanx again for your help.

Can you please tell me how long it takes to replace the water pump in my car (1999 Chrysler Sebring Lxi 2.5 L v6)?

That is a major job on the 2.5L V6 because it is run by the timing belt. I would estimate a good tech could do it in about 4 hours.

If you replace it, replace the belt at the same time. That way you won't have to pay labor again when it's time to replace it.
