1999 Chevrolet 1ton cargo van, fuel pump quit working again.

i bought this van about a week ago. changed the fuel pump, strainers, and fuel filter. all the fuses are good. i drove the van 2 days and the fuel pump went out again, and the pump i changed was changed a year prior. what would cause the pumps to keep going out?

Check to make sure the regulator is working properly. If the pump is overworking to keep up, it will go bad faster. However, 2 days is hard to believe.
