transmission suddenly will not shift into all gears. will shift from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. but going into 3 it slips and rpm's go up and won't shift into 4th. at first found majority of tranny fluid gone but no visibly leak but fresh fluid out of top overflow tube. filled to proper level and no change. still won't work past second. scanned and came up with p1870 code. but looking it up i don't know if it's a shift solonoid, valve, torque converter. did all my fluid boil out and smoke the transmission? if possible, could you call me, bob at 920 - 784 - 8773 after 11am c.s.t.?
