1999 Suburban Coolant leak in high pressure line

What is involved in repailint the fitting in the top of the engine block for the high presure line that conects near the front on the top of the Enging. I have Steam coming out there. What parts do I need to fix it.

There are no high pressure lines in the cooling system. The whole system has equal pressure.
I'm not sure what fitting you're referring to. Can you post a picture?

I'll send a pic tomorrow if I can. High presure line might not be the roght name for it, but, Steam spews out at a pretty high rate.
It is not water coming out, it is steam. It is where a hose conects on the top of the engine block, in front, right behind where the belt that runs the power stearing water pump etc sits.

That just means the system is low on fluid and overheating. Get me a pic of the fitting and we'll see what it takes to fix it.

ok,

It was real low when I first noticed it, but, after filling up the radiator & the plastic reservoir bottle , it still steams up.

That's what I suspected. that is a pot metal "coupler" fitting that threads into the intake manifold. They rot out frequently. You can pick one up at Chevrolet pretty cheap but you may have a problem getting the broken piece out of the manifold and repairing the threads. It can be done but you have to know what you're doing.
