just replaced the intake gasket on a 1999 chevy malibu 3100 motor last week and went good but ended up having multiple misfire code PO300 and tried disconnecting the crankshaft and camshaft sensors but the engine ran the same, bad.

doing that did nothing. after the intake gasket, it is not uncommon for the lifters to be a issue till they pump up or down. in the worse case senerio, you may have to replace the lifters.

did it run ok before this repair??

nvm.. i believe the problem has to do with how we were going about getting the lifters to pump up. hitting the throttle made the computer set up wrong so the rpm would set so high on accident that when the engine would go to idle and would just shut off

hitting the throttle did nothing. the lifters either pumped up or down should center themselves after about 30 seconds to a minute. if they dont, then there is an issue.

most likely you must replace the lifters and basicly repeat the job.
