its a solenoid and it is in the valve body of the trans and is not an easy operation for a home job.

why are you asking for this procedure??

The car has a air pump it did not work I bought a new one and put it in it worked perfectly. Then on the same day the pump stopped working and the car started acting up. When I give gas the car drives when I let go and press again it does not want to drive but the RPMs still pick up. And there was a strange noise coming from the trans I think. Never heard it before Somebody suggested me it was the TCC sensor.

no, do not listen to them. you need to have the trans checked by a shop to verify the issue and tell you what the problem is.

is the check engine light on??

did you check the fluid?? when was the last time you changed the fluid as it needs to be changed like your oil and filter

ok, could be wire harness inside valve body, solenoids themselves or internal failure. this is why you need a shop that can track down the codes to verify the failure.

Okay so let me get this straight in order to probably fix this it would involve putting lots of money into it and taking off the tranny or dealing with it. The valve body is in the tranny yes?
Thank you so much

yes it is and i never said lots of money as you dont even know what the issue is at this time. thats why you need someone to check it for you to confirm the failure and give you a bid. i am here and not at the car so i cannot tell you without seeing monitor information about what is going on inside the trans
