where I could find the vehicles the engine would fit?

I have a friend who needs a motor for his 2002 Dodge neon. We were wondering would a 1999 cavalier motor work in it? If not is there a list where i could find the vehicles the cavalier motor would fit?

Hello,

The engine out of a Chevy Cavalier will not fit in a Dodge Neon.

The 2.2L engine out of the 1999 Cavalier will fit other cavaliers from 1998 to 2002.
It might also fit Oldsmobile Alero and Pontiac Grand Am.

As for the Dodge Neon the 2001 and 2002 use the same 2.0L engine.
