1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Brake Master Cylinder

So, this all started with the brake hose that was connecting from my caliper to the brake hard line, breaking. Rust got to it. So we replaced that and bled the brakes at the wheels. Still my pedal was soft all the way to the floor. So a friend of mine told me the master cylinder was probably shot. Now on this cavalier, my abs is connected directly to the master cylinder and we removed everything but cant get the master cylinder to bleed. We are attempting to bench bleed it and the fluid simply wont flow. So if i could get a detailed description of how to bench bleed this cylinder, with the ABS, thatd be great.
