i have a 1999 s 10 blazer i replaced the motor with new one i have replaced new crank sensor , spider system for fuel ,reluctor ring all the other basics spark plugs got the new engine started ran at 1800 rpm for 20 min turned off and checked all fluids when restart was tried turns over for a few cranks then starter and flywheel mash or maybe distributor makes loud clunk did this a couple times with no luck then starter quit and broke replaced spider because of this and over fuel or leak any ideas please going broke trying to get to run for my 16 year old

Was there shims on the starter on the old engine. The starter pinion tooth may be too close to the flywheel. That would put excessive strain on the starter. The proper clearence is between 0.01 to 0.06 from tooth on pinion and the flywheel. Before reinstalling the starter check the flywheel to see if there is a chipped tooth.
