Transmission problem ?

The check engine is on. Went to autozone, and a code came up for the 1-2 shift solenoid. The car drives great. The only thing is that I only feel it shift only once at 10 mph , and after that it doesn't do it anymore...I guess it revs or something.... Idk I just drive it.....Could you help me in the diagnosis of the problem ? How much does it cost to fix ? what do I need to do ?

have you tried shifting manually to see if it shifts right?

yes but it has like 1 2 3 D selections. start in lowest selection and move up manually.

Oh yes. I've tried that. It works on each gear. I'm really not car savvy but I know a little...I'm just saying while Im driving in drive it only shifts once.

pan needs to be removed and soleniod checked. if bad replace and see if that fixes it.
