1999 Buick Lesabre drivebelt noise

I replace a new drivebelt on a 1999 buick lesbre 3.8L about a month ago the old belt was making a noise that the reason i replace a new belt, so now the new belt that i replace it have starting to make a noise but what could be causing the belt to make a noise would the belt wear out this quick what i need to do now to fix the problem and what to check?

Check to make sure the tensione is good and not allowing the belt to be slightly loose. Also, check to see if the pulleys are glazed or have something on them. Many times I have seen coolant or other fluid get on the belt and cause a noise. Check that too.

How do i check the tensioner? what do the pulley look like when it is glazed?

check to see if the belt feels loose. You should be able to move it aprox 3/4" up and down. As far as the glaze, the pulleys will have a shine in them.

I check the belt and i can move it up and down 3/4" the pulleys have a little shine in them the belt make a noise sometime when turning the steerling wheel and the steerling wheel have a little vibration in it as i turn it and sometime it is a little hard when turning the steerling wheel i check the power steerling fluid it is overfill will a power steerling pump and rack and pinion cause a little hard steerling and belt noise? and how do i check for a bad power steerling pump and rack and pinion?

If the PS pump is binding, it could cause a belt noise. As far as the rack and pump, are there any leaks?
