Climate control unit which control heat...air..Temp...defrost rear and front etc. Sometimes it goes on by itself and off by itself ...I cant turn it on or off....what do you think is problem?

The control module in the dash is suspect and they are known to fail in the way you have described, Google BMW climate control E46
