last two weeks my car want start without jump starting it battery was going dead went got another battery and alternater and after jump start car starts and you drive for 5 or 10 minutes and radio goes out and dash goes out and car want go anymore . how do you know when main relay is bad and if it is bad what does car do

what kind of car is this so we might have a way to check the wiring to see what the problem actually is.

next time please give type of car, engine size along with year. see pic on where to check fuses under hood fuse box. a test light or volt meter are all that are required as they have contacts to touch they should be marked on fuse box. also you might go to an auto parts or tire store and have battery checked for condition including load test. most places do for free.
