The engine overheated for maximum 10 minutes...My wife told me the car made a noise when she turned it off..I went out and turned on the car, no problem.. I started to drive around the block and noticed the temp gauge off the end and shut car down...the noise was the fan still turning... I walked home with the intention of getting some tools and removing the thermostat but did not have the correct Torx size... I started the car and drove it home ( 30 seconds) I replaced the thermostat the next day and the car will not start now....turns over and seems to almost catch , but will not start...My question is , is there anything that the overheating could have caused to stop working as it cooled down? I'm looking for a place to start...I have limited tools-no diagnostic stuff besides my brain....
