I have a volvo s70 1998, just replaced the distributor cap, it keeps collecting moisture randomly shutting the engie off what could it be

They make a product that you can spray on the cap and wires to prevent moisture problems. Check with your local parts store. Also, make sure the cap is sitting properly on the distributor.
