1998 Tacoma 4x4, TRD, auto with 3.4 engine. 1000,000 miles. It felt like my breaks wern't working good. Put on New front rotors, (Factory 1998 rotor craked from ridding them when going down hill) and replaced pads. Back breaks ok, alot of shoe left and adjusted, Stopped fair but felt like maybe the front breaks were doing all the work. Drove it a few thousand miles. Then it felt like it did not want to stop and it got worse. Like no power to brakes. Started all over, Had front rotors turned, sanded pads that look like new. Had rear drums turned and new brakes on rear. Wheel brake cylinders look fine and are free. Adjusted rear breaks. Still didn't want to stop. Like no power breaks. Pedal takes extra pressure and you can't lock up a brake. Bleed Brakes. Checked vacume to power booster. Fine. Checked power booster, fine. Still don't want to stop. Any suggestion where to look or try next ???
