Instrumentation panel gives false failures.

After starting the car I get a Trac On, and a bad reverse light. I disconnected the negative battery. It was cleared and now I get a solid check engine light. I noticed that the anti-freeze bottle was low and I refilled it. I took off the neg side of the battery to clear the check engine fault. Now I just get the back up light icon. I also get the reverse light when I am in drive. The reverse light works ok in reverse.
Do I need to go to auto zone to clear the computer?
