Engine missing badly

From a cold start the 1.6 litre motor runs fine, then after 40 seconds it starts to miss badly. Shut it off, then restart it and it runs fine for another 20 - 30 seconds, and so on. I have good spark to each plug, new plugs, cap and rotor
