hi, i have a 98 outback, and my at oil temp light is flashing when i start the car, the man, says it is a automatic control system warning, and to get it serviced asap, can not do that so close to mortgage time, what is this and is there any thing

Part of your question was cut off. The oil pressure warning light is supposed to come on when you first start the engine. You should rent or borrow an oil pressure gauge and check it to be sure.
