My transmission just started slipping when in drive and it will not move in reverse. The transmission fluid appears to be just slightly over full. It is pink in color with some black on the dipstick. I have not changed the fluid & filter yet. Wil changing the fluid & filter solve the slipping problem or do i need to take the cat to a transmission shop?

Sounds like you have a pressure problem and or a loose input shaft nut. Both are common on those cars if you bought a pressure gauge like mine there about 50 something and easy to check pressures on those. The pressure regulator bores in the valve body wear and loose pressure or cause the pressure regulator to stick too high or low.
