How to remove and install the engine?

There is a lot of steps i can give you some tips though.Remove the hood so you can get the engine out.Also remove radiator fan assembly so you dont break it.You can unbolt the ac compressor and zip tie it out of the way to radaitor support without discharging it.Do you have a automatic or manual transmission?

I have an manual transmission.

when removing nuts and bolts i find it helps to have a piece of cardboard to put the bolts in and write down where they came from next to the bolt. this will help a lot when you are putting it back in, as well as reduce the frustration of finding the right bolt for the right component. all i can say is the user: saturntech9 is going to be a tremendous help. he knows his stuff.

When i replace a engine with a manual transmission i always remove the engine and transmission together.Then i reinstall the engine with the transmission that way i dont have a problem line up the input shaft of the transmission into the clutch on the engine.You would just slack the chain so the engine comes up and the transmission drops down so they will come out together.

if you are strictly replacing the engine i would inspect the transmission as well. make sure there is no visible damage and if there is none then replacing the clutch with a brand new clutch kit is also advisable if you have the engine out of the car, it will make it much easier. the cheapest kit i can find is $120 from www.rockauto.com i have used this site before and it has never served me wrong. that kit comes with an alignment tool as well. if anything i have posted in this reply is inaccurate im sure saturntech9 will correct my mistake with credible information.
